The roller is loaded with compressed air, adjustable via pressure regulator and manometer, and takes weight from the machine.

The dam former can be operated with short wear strips or speed plates.
The roller can also be driven with erosion stop only.

Open and rough dam with erosion barrages promotes water intake and gas exchange and improves potato health. Avoids rizoctonia and erosion. 

The roller can be continuously loaded via air cylinders and thus takes on the weight of the machine.
